Mission

As a fellow private IVF provider, you may be interested to learn that there is a society of private ART clinics. It is called the International Association of Private Assisted Reproductive Clinics and Laboratories or A PART. A PART was founded in 1998 to provide a scientific, educational and social forum for physicians like you. Our annual World Congress attracts colleagues from all continents.

Mission statement

  • A PART is an association of private IVF centers. The mission of A PART is to support couples suffering from fertility problems by providing effective, accessible and affordable treatment.
  • A PART cooperates with patient support groups for a better understanding of their needs and requirements.
  • A PART cooperates with other professional, commercial and also non-profit organizations, in order to improve the patients' quality of life.

Objectives - IVF centers

  • Improve medical and managerial quality (skills) of ART clinics
    • Test and study innovative, state-of-the-art medications, equipment and methods
      • Based on experience, draw-up recommendations and/or guidelines
    • Develop requirements and standards for state-of-the-art ART clinics
      • Develop Quality Management (QM) standards for ART clinics
    • Support and share experiences with newly established ART units by guiding on best practice

General objectives - patients

  • Make ART treatment accessible and affordable for patients
    • Develop safe and cost-effective, patient profile tailored treatment protocols
    • Cooperate with patient support groups to better understand patients' needs
    • Develop awareness of ART treatment
